This four-night Mallorca break uses Palma as a single base and makes the transport part of the programme. Two rail outings provide different kinds of day: Sóller for the historic train and a town visit, Binissalem for architecture and an optional wine encounter. A free city day prevents the holiday from depending on a connection every morning.

Nights one to four: one Palma base

Choose your own accommodation and check the actual journeys to the departure stations before booking. Arriving without a car is easier when luggage, check-in and the return after dinner have been considered in advance. Airport transport is a separate arrangement.

Keep arrival day light. Use the evening for a walk and a meal, then begin the outings after a proper night's rest.

Day two: Sóller on the historic train

Use the operator's current timetable to select the outward and return journeys. Spend the time between them exploring Sóller, choosing an architectural or cultural focus and leaving room for lunch.

The historic railway has its own ticket arrangements. Do not assume a public transport pass or ticket covers the journey. This proposal stops in Sóller; a tram extension would require additional planning and is not included in the itinerary.

Day three: Binissalem on the public railway

Use the TIB rail service for a visit to Binissalem. Give the town's stone architecture a share of the day. If you want a tasting, book a specific venue and confirm how you will reach it from the station.

The town visit remains worthwhile without wine. No winery, tasting appointment or admission is included in this proposal.

A flexible Palma day

Keep the remaining full day for the city or move an excursion if the operators' service calendars require it. Check return trains before leaving in the morning, particularly around holidays or engineering works. Four nights, one base and two deliberate outings provide a workable framework without a rental car.
