The Consell de Mallorca's published valley circuit uses Sóller as its starting and finishing point and brings Binibassí, Fornalutx and Biniaraix into one walking experience. The interest is in the old routes, village fabric and cultivated landscape, with enough variety to reward a dedicated walking day.
Choose this when you want a substantial circuit rather than a casual stroll around a village square. The official guide rates it medium difficulty and gives a walking estimate of three hours and 22 minutes. The saved duration follows that estimate; meals, photography and village stops require extra time.
Suitability and preparation
The guide excludes children under six and limits pushchair use to an initial section. Its inclusion in a family-walk publication does not make the complete circuit suitable for all families or mobility needs. Uneven paths and ascent require walking footwear and a realistic assessment of the least confident walker.
